Jeez, you'd think they were Democrats or something....

Bush gals to see gay vows

This is NOT going to go over well in the White House, especially in the middle of a Presidential campaign. With George W. Bush trying to solidify his narrow-minded “we hate everyone different” Conservative Christian base, this is certainly not going to help matters.

The Bush twins may support their father, but that doesn’t mean they have to march in lockstep with him. Ron Reagan is a perfect example of this. Presidential children tend to be an independent lot, and in this case, while the Bushies will find a way to spin things to their advantage, this can’t help their father’s cause.

Of course, in the final analysis, this is an issue hardly worth making political hay out of. What inquiring minds REALLY want to know however, is how much the twins pay to have their eyebrows done?

When Washington-area beautician Erwin Gomez and his longtime partner James Packard celebrate their marital vows with 400 of their closest friends,…two of Gomez’s best customers will probably be in attendance: President Bush’s twin daughters, Jenna and Barbara.

Yesterday, the 39-year-old Gomez - a makeup expert for the Elizabeth Arden shop in the D.C. suburb of Chevy Chase, Md. - told Lowdown that the First Twins have become devotees of his popular eyebrow waxes over the past few weeks….

“I gave them the party invitation, and they said, ‘That sounds great, we’d love to come - it sounds like a lot of fun,’” Gomez said.

“The way they reacted, they were very open-minded.”

Never mind that their father supports a constitutional ban of gay marriages.

Gee, you don’t think that Barbara and Jenna actually might be open-minded and willing to accept the fact that not everyone is as judgemental and narrow-minded as their father and his supporters? Wouldn’t that be something? Independent thinking. I suppose that’s what four years at Yale or the University of Texas will do for you (or four years away from their parents). It’s just too bad that whole Yale thing didn’t work for their father, eh?
