Stanley’s Summer Tour (thanks, Lawrence!!)
Here we are, into what should be Day 3 of the 2004-05 NHL season, and the best we can hope for is the AHL’s opening weekend. I have tickets to the Houston Aeros’ home opener tomorrow night against the Cincinnati (not Anaheim) Mighty Ducks, but it’s just not the same. Yes, it’s hockey, and that is ALWAYS a good thing, but it’s still minor league hockey.
In the meantime, Lawrence shares the photographic evidence of Lord Stanley’s summer vacation. Enjoy it while you can, because it’s likely going to be awhile before we see anyone skating with the Cup.
