Greetings from Comedy Central

Sometimes, when I’m feeling the need for some comic relief, I’ll go visit Alan Keyes’ site, Renew America. For sheer Righ-wing wingnuttery, you just can’t beat it. I mean, I don’t know what planet Keyes and his fellow travellers are living on, but to describe them as “out there” would be charitable. After all, these are the same folks who brought us classics like:

President Bush vs. Dr. Frist vs. Nuremburg Code. (F—k Iraq. What about the embyos??)

Click here to here Terri [Schiavo] laughing. (She may be dead, but that doesn’t mean we can’t still exploit her.)

Spike in D.C. violent crime blamed on gun ban. (If only we could turn DC into a free-fire zone, things would be SO much better.)

Stem cell research more politics than science. (Greetings from the Far Right- where dogma and empiricism are one and the same thing.)

Senate denies funds for new border fence. (Damn, man…how else are we going to keep out the Evil Brown People??)

Planned Parenthood’s nonsense; Hate speech toward pro-life priest. (Not so much fun when your own tactics are used against you, is it?)

The above is just a small sample of awaits you at Renew America. Yes, the comic relief value may be high, but these folks are SERIOUS…which, if you think about it, only serves to increase the comic value of their screeds.

Gentleman, start your ignorant, hatred-filled rhetoric…and remember, there’s a two-drink minimum.
