Better to be thought a fool than to be Our Glorious and Benevolent Leader and remove all doubt

President Bush condemned the actions of North Korean Leader Kim Jong II. But amid concerns that North Korea’s claim to have tested a nuclear weapon could lead to destabilization in Asia, the president said he is committed to a peaceful resolution.

His negotiating skills, however, could be a cause for concern.

“…That is the best strategy to solve the problem. I mean, I - you - one has a stronger hand when there’s more people playing your same cards.”

In poker, a player usually has a stronger hand if his opponents don’t play the same cards. If the president expects to gain the upper hand, he may want to consider using his poker face.
