As nutty as Harris is, I find it equally crazy that 30% or so of Florida voters actually support her.
Is there some sort of unwritten rule that one has to be completely insane to be a Republican?
Nah...you just have to live in Florida. 'Course, being bat-shit insane isn't exactly a hindrance.... ;p)
Locking old people in a room for 2 hours? Yikes! I hope she let them out in time for the 4PM blue-plate special at the diner!

From the Palm Beach Herald Tribune article:
"The meeting was closed to the public, and attendees said they were not allowed to comment on what Harris discussed because of rules placed on nonprofit organizations."
Say what? I've worked for nonprofits for years. There are no rules on what can be said, or commented on, by speakers at meetings of nonprofit groups. Somebody needs to tell the reporter not to accept this kind of bullcrap - and I just did so.
