130 Liberty Street
130 Liberty Street, occupied by Deutsche Bank prior to 9.11, was contaminated and too thoroughly damaged in order to reopen. Since you can’t very well drop a building in a controlled demolition in Manhattan’s financial district, it’s being slowly disassembled. Five years later, it serves as a stark reminder of the lingering effects of 9.11 on lower Manhattan.
