Swift Boat Leader Hired To Run Right-Wing ‚Äö√Ñ√≤Online Community’
MMFA investigates: Who is Jerome Corsi, co-author of Swift Boat Vets attack book?
Washington Post columnist Robert Novak reported that TheVanguard.org, a new right-wing advocacy group, has hired Jerome Corsi as a senior political strategist. Vanguard describes itself as an “online community of Americans who believe in conservative values,” and Novak claims it is a “right-wing version of the leftist MoveOn.Org.”….By hiring Corsi, Vanguard has made it clear that it intends to hit below the belt and be more than just an “online community.” Corsi coordinated the Swiftboat Veterans for Truth attacks against Sen. John Kerry (D-MA), and plans to use Vanguard to “similarly undermine Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton” for her progressive policy stances.
If you were silly enough to harbor any hope that Republicans have any plans or desire to find common ground with Democrats, you can officially kiss your delusion goodbye. Thankfully for Jerome Corsi, and for those of us on the Left that he would victimize, this is still a free country, and free speech is still part of the Bill of Rights. Corsi, left to his own devices, would no doubt crush and silence those with the temerity to disagree with him and his Right-wing nutjob benefactors. Imagine a world run by the trolls at Little Green Footballs, and you’ll have an idea of the ideology Corsi serves.
There is nothing about Jerome Corsi, his ideology, or the people he works for that speaks of anything resembling compromise, common ground, or a meeting of the minds. Corsi is all about forcing his narrow, xenophobic ideology upon the body politic by any means necessary. He’s right, he’s absolutely certain of it, and those who don’t think as he does deserve deserve to be ridiculed, marginalized, and driven underground- by any means necessary.

Corsi on Islam: “a worthless, dangerous Satanic religion”
Corsi on Catholicism: “Boy buggering in both Islam and Catholicism is okay with the Pope as long as it isn’t reported by the liberal press”
Corsi on Muslims: “RAGHEADS are Boy-Bumpers as clearly as they are Women-Haters — it all goes together”
Corsi on “John F*ing Commie Kerry”: “After he married TerRAHsa, didn’t John Kerry begin practicing Judiasm? He also has paternal grandparents that were Jewish. What religion is John Kerry?”
Corsi on Senator “FAT HOG” Clinton: “Anybody ask why HELLary couldn’t keep BJ Bill satisfied? Not lesbo or anything, is she?”
This being a free country that , values free speech and expression, Corsi is free to spew his wrath and ignorance to anyone who will listen- and there are no shortage of like-minded thinkers out there. It would be easy- and wrong- for me to propose that Corsi ought to either shut up or be shut up. After all, that’s what Corsi would see done to people like me. In the final analysis, though, it really comes down to a very simple lesson I learned as a child, one which Jerome Corsi could learn from:
Better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
