Time to polish the King's helmet, Mr. Beck....

Limbaugh Denigrates American Servicewomen

CNN Host Who Uses Racial Slurs Says Divisive Rhetoric Will Be ‚Äö√Ñ√≤The Death Of The Country’

It’s amazing that Rush Limbaugh can say anything that pops into his point li’l haid- no matter how inflammatory, inaccurate, and/or fact-deficient- and his sycophants on the Rabid Right hang on his every word as if his pronouncements were Gospel. His ignorance and bombast are neither questioned nor disputed, no matter how ridiculous his assertions. In Limbaugh’s world, fact-checking is a burden incumbent only upon Liberals and those with the temerity to disagree with him.

An indication of the height of the pedestal that Limbaugh occupies is the way Glenn Beck quickly backpeddled after criticizing Limbaugh for his divisiveness. Though he was right, Beck no doubt realized that the last thing he needed to be doing was to be viewed as tugging on Superman’s cape. Beck recognizes that he owes his own gravy train in large part to Limbaugh, who demonstrated that civil political discourse may be all well and good, but it doesn’t get the ratings that hate, bombast, and ignorant vitriol presented as immutable truth do.

Of course, Beck, a former (and well-deserving) DUMB@$$ AWARD weiner himself, is no shrinking violet when it comes shilling for the Rabid Right. He may see and portray himself as just a “regular guy” trying to make sense of things, but the reality is that he’s little more than Limbaugh Light.

If anyone with a radio show on Air America conducted themselves as Limbaugh and Beck do, the weeping and gnashing of teeth would be heard across the land. Somehow, though, it’s considered perfectly acceptable for Right-wing radio hosts to spew whatever ignorance and hatred happens to be fueling their anger and outrage at any given moment.

Uh…Mr. Beck? The dry cleaner called; Mr. Limbaugh’s brown shirts are ready to be picked up….
