Another DUMB@$$ AWARD wiener

Police: Man swiped 1,500 women’s undies

DUMB@$$ AWARD wiener #557: Garth M. Flaherty

PULLMAN, Washington (AP) — A man was charged with theft and burglary after police said they found 93 pounds of women’s panties, brassieres and other underwear at his home. Investigators believe Garth M. Flaherty, 24, took as many as 1,500 undergarments from apartment complex laundry rooms before he was caught, police Cmdr. Chris Tennant said. A man was seen taking underwear from two laundry rooms Saturday, a witness recorded his license number, and Flaherty was identified from photographs, Tennant said. Police found enough underwear in his bedroom to fill five garbage bags, Tennant said….”He said he had a problem,” Tennant said.

“He said he had a problem.” Jeebus…time for another visit from Captain Obvious, eh?? And your first clue was…??

I suppose I should display at least a modicum of sympathy and support for a fellow member of the male gender who seems a bit…well, out of whack. I probably should…but I really can’t. I mean, for God’s sake, the man stole 1500 female undergarments. Sure, maybe Flaherty just wanted to feel pretty, but 1500 undergarments? That’s not just merely overkill; that’s DUMB@$$-worthy overkill.

Lots of people have fetishes of one flavor or another, but they generally tend to be the kind of thing easily accommodated by like-minded sorts. Stealing 1500 female undergarments isn’t just a fetish. That’s a boutique.

The underwear will be held as evidence until the case is resolved, after which their disposition is uncertain, Tennant said.

“Would you really want them back?” he asked. “I would say not.”

Indeed. Jeebus, what an epic DUMB@$$….
