Police: Naked couple fall 50 feet from rooftop of S.C. office building to their deaths (thanks, Bob!)
COLUMBIA, S.C. ‚Äö√Ñ√¨ Police on Wednesday were investigating how a naked couple fell 50 feet from the roof of a downtown office building to their deaths. The bodies were found on the road by a passing cabdriver around 5 a.m. Wednesday. Clothing was discovered on the roof, leading authorities to suspect the man and woman, in their early 20s, may have been having sex. Their identities were not released…. “It’s too early to rule out anything,” Columbia police Sgt. Florence McCants said, but McCants said a preliminary investigation didn’t show any sign of foul play.
This sounds like something the Darwin Awards might be interested in. Gee, a naked couple hits the ground and what appears to be their clothing is found on the roof of the office building above them. Hmm…d’ya think they might have been having sex. Talk about going out with a bang, eh?
Sure, it’s tragic that a young couple plunged to their death- but you have to admit that this will prove to be a comedy gold mine for someone so inclined. Especially since I’d be willing to bet that alcohol was somehow involved.
I have a friend who fantasizes about “death by blonde”- dying of a massive heart attack while being straddled by a nubile young blonde. I think this might just fit the bill.
