When I was working in the Clinton White House, one committee alone, the House Government Reform Committee, issued a thousand subpoenas to Clinton administration officials 141 different people were subpoenaed.

Ah, poor Tony Snow. It can’t be easy having to invent new and different ways to spin the virtually unspinnable. Having to piss and moan about Democrats investing the Bush Administration being investigated by Democrats has got to be a tough thing to do believably. Sure, can accentuate the supposed silliness of it all, but if you get into the Wayback Machine, you’ll go back to a time when Republicans threw untold amounts of tax dollars at all manner of investigations of Bill and Hillary Clinton. Now Tony Snow is going to credibly whine when the tables are turned, especially on a President that’s made himself such an easy target? Gimme a break….
When you and yours spend eight years dealing in legalized political persecution, there’s no way you can credibly cry persecution when the Administration you serve and propagandize for is in the crosshairs. Shut up, take your medicine, and admit that you’re partially responsible for creating the current environment. Perhaps you would have been well-advised to consider the possible blowback when you were part of the persecution machinery. Tony Fox was part and parcel of the Right-wing propaganda machine when he worked for Fox News Channel. NOW he wants Democrats to back off? Methinks this Administration is merely reaping what it’s supporters so during the Clinton Administration. And that’s a damn shame, eh? :O)
