If it quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, and can’t keep it in his pants like a…well, this is when you know that you’re dealing with a “family values” Republican. Interesting, isn’t it? Louisiana Sen. David Vitter frequent a prostitute for years, and yet how often do you hear Republicans in Washington demanding that he resign? Imagine if you will what would be happening if Vitter were a Democrat. Yeah, I know…Republicans from coast to coast would be collapsing in paroxysms of uncontrolled rage.
Oh, the humanity. Oh, the weeping and gnashing of teeth. Oh, the “family values” Republicans waxing indignant about the sinfulness and the perfidy and the perversion. The hue and cry would be heard from sea to shining sea, and the pressure on Vitter to resign would be almost unbearable. Thankfully for Vitter, he’s a Republican, so it’s OK…’cuz boys will be boys, don’tchaknow?
And, if the hypocrisy and the double standards weren’t enough, it turns out that Vitter is compensating for having a small penis. Like most “family values” Republicans, it appears that Vitter is trying to make up for his shortcomings.
