Houston police have re-opened all southbound lanes of the Gulf Freeway in the area of Airport and Edgebrook this afternoon fter human body parts were found on the roadway earlier today….
A report of remains on the roadway was made about 6:40 a.m., but a patrol officer sent to the scene didn’t see anything unusual, Cannon said. He said the heavy rain and darkness may have hampered the officer’s visibility. A second officer saw the remains just after 9 a.m. The freeway was then closed from 9:45 a.m. until 1:20 p.m.
