And for her next trick, she's going to cure HIV/AIDS and teach the lame to walk

Clinton's attacks on oil prices as artificially inflated, Enron-style, keep escalating, and today she appeared to threaten to break up the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries.... "We're going to go right at OPEC," she said. "They can no longer be a cartel, a monopoly that get together once every couple of months in some conference room in some plush place in the world, they decide how much oil they're going to produce and what price they're going to put it at," she told a crowd at a firehouse in Merrillville, IN.... "That's not a market. That's a monopoly," she said, saying she'd use anti-trust law and the World Trade Organization to take on OPEC. Clinton has cast herself as a warrior for working people against the oil industry and malicious "speculators," and made that -- along with her push for a gas tax holiday -- central to her closing message in Indiana.

Man, and to think there was a time when I would have willingly supported Sen. Hillary Clinton in her at-least-then seemingly quixotic quest for the White House. Now I wish she'd just disappear. 'Course, that's not about to happen until and/or unless she runs out of things she can pander to the American Sheeple about. So thoroughly convinced of the righteousness of her cause is she that she's apparently just now discovered the ability to say whatever it is that the Sheeple want to hear (sounds like someone's been hanging around with Sen. John McCain a bit too much, no?). With gas prices increasing on a daily basis, Clintonus Maximus has taken on the destruction of OPEC as her latest crusade. Yes, that's right; if elected President, Clintonus Maximus will marshal all of the magical powers at the disposal of the Chief Executive in order to wipe OPEC off the map and therefore make America once again safe from the evil, swarthy bearded menaces who threaten our economic safety and well-being.

Yeah, right...and next week she'll be fighting for our inalienable right to Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Bruce Springsteen tickets. What a load of crap....
