Today's signs that the Apocalypse is upon us

....Venezuela: making the world a safer place for Pepsi drinkers. I fear for those Venezuelans who enjoy fast food, baseball, and shopping malls.

....Memo to President Obama: Dude, dial the "date nights" back a bit, willya? You're making the rest of us look like slackers when it comes to the romance.

....You know the economy is circling the drain when strip clubs have to cut back....

....After decades of screwing Americans, isn't about time that health insurers be required to drop trou, bend over, and grab their ankles? Paybacks can really be a b---h, knowhutimean?

....Truth should not be held hostage to an "alternate reality"...unless, I suppose, you're Charles Krauthammer and you really do believe that Fox Noise Channel is "fair and balanced."

....If you take nothing else away from the recent spurt of frustrated Right-wing nutjobs committing very public murder, remember this: there is no such thing as officially sanctioned Right-wing violence...only Right-wingers who engage in officially sanctioned violence.

....'The responsible white separatist community condemns this' because 'it makes us look bad.'. Gee...ya think???

....So, you're a bank that got bailed out by American taxpayers. How do you repay us for our largesse? Well, you don't, silly...because that would imply something resembling gratitude.

....Swine flu cases are on the rise in Australia. In other news, New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin and his wife just arrived in Australia. Coincidence??

....China is not happy at all about Uighurs from Guantanamo Bay being sent to the Pacific island of Palau. They'd prefer they be sent directly to China, where they could be properly executed.
