We generally get the quality of leadership we deserve...and our standards are low

I'd apologize for piling on, but what's the point? When your actions and decisions are an exercise in self-parody, what else is left to say? Personally, I could care less if Sarah Palin resigned as Governor of Alaska in order to enroll in Gestapo School. She can goose-step from Wasilla to Munich...though I will miss the sheer entertainment value and the comic relief she's provided for the past year or so. After all, it's not as if she actually has anything of substance to offer. Sarah Palin is all about Sarah Palin, which shouldn't exactly come as a surprise. Ambition is not exactly an original trait, and Palin isn't the first politician to be seduced by it. Where she does exceed expectations is in her ability to engage in stunning displays of a lack of integrity AND paroxysms of world-class self-parody.

Of course, even I have to bow to those who have both the time and the commitment to fully appreciate the comic gold mine that is Sarah Palin. To wit:

You're welcome. ;-)

Happy Friday, y'all....
