Today's signs that the Apocalypse is upon us

....Insurance Industry Report Promises To Increase Premiums By 111% Under Health Reform. So, do you still buy the industry's argument that they support reform? And I suppose you consider holding a gun to our heads to be "support"?

....Dallas police seek naked backyard dancer. So the guy sneaks into backyards, dances naked, and leaves. What else are you going to do in Dallas on a week night?

....Sometimes, sports can be instruments for promoting social change. At other times, it can be used to say "enough is enough.". Hatred and racism should have no part in sports, and NFL players are right to stand up and speak out about not wanting to play for Rush Limbaugh.

....Maine couple win wife carrying championship. All I can say is that it's a good thing that Lacey Castro only weighs 97 pounds.

....Insurance Company CAVES, Agrees To Insure "Too Fat" Baby After Outcry. Exhibit A for why we need health care reform NOW....

....Al Gore Spars With Climate Change Denier. Al Gore has battle of wits with an unarmed opponent.

....Right-Wingers Believe Ayn Rand's Every Word, But They Forget She Wrote Fiction. Probably because most of what Republicans believe IS fiction.

....Do you really want your airline pilot to have to work two jobs because of industry-wide draconian pay and benefit cuts? How much is your safety worth?

....When you're Rick Perry, you never have to worry about being held accountable- even if you're guilty of signing off on the state-sanctioned murder of an innocent man. Investigation? We don't need no stinkin' investigation.

....Don't ask, don't tell? Don't matter, because all it does is protect the bigots who oppress and abuse those they suspect of being gay.
