Today's signs that the Apocalypse is upon us

....Tea Party Groups Protest Children Praising Obama. Are these people serious? Jeebus, y'all; don'tcha think it's about time y'all sought some serious professional help? All that unchallenged anger and rage can't be healthy.

....Joe Arpaio: Self-promoting racist megalomaniac? Or just a misunderstood patriot just trying to do the right thing? Well, at this point it hardly matters, because the White House just stripped him of him self-appointed status as an enforcer of immigration policy. Nice.

....Americans Are Still Delusional About House Prices. Whaddya mean we can't get something for nothing??

....WH communications director: Fox News operates as 'a wing of the Republican Party.'. Uh, it would seem that it's time for another visit from Captain Obvious....

....Tea Partiers Turn On GOP Leadership. I don't know about you, but I find it highly entertaining watching wingnuts eating their young.

....Uh, OK; so how stupid do you have to be to ask your 13-year-old daughter for sex- ON FACEBOOK?? Well, say hello to John Forehand, who apparently misremembered that da Interweb is...uh, public.

....This won't exactly come as a surprise to any lucid observer who's been paying attention, but Conservatives really are terrified of an African-American President and all that he represents.

....Five guys in Toledo, OH, decide to take their guns with them into a bar. What could possibly go wrong??

....This just in from our New York bureau: a just-released study shows that women buy shoes that hurt their feet. Yeah, I know; I couldn't believe it, either.

....News Flash: Steve Wynn is either a total moron, or completely and willfully ignorant of history. You get to decide.
