Things I think I might be thinking....

bostonteaparty.jpgGOP Senate candidate compares embryonic stem cell research to 'what the Nazis did to the Jews.'. Hmm...potentially life-saving research vs. the wholesale extermination of innocent people because of their religion. Yeah, that seems pretty comparable, don'tchathink? What are these people smoking??

Roy Williams Is A Clueless Dick. An earthquake that kills more than 150,000 is an abject tragedy. Losing a basketball game barely ranks as a disappointment. You might want to keep that in mind.

Haiti gives conflicting counts for quake deaths. 170,000. 230,000. 270,000. After awhile, they're just numbers that confirmed that what happened in Haiti was a tragedy of the first order. An accurate number seems almost a secondary consideration.

Sarah Palin calls global warming studies 'snake oil science.'. Scientific reality is not something that you can ignore simply because it doesn't fit with your ideological agenda...unless you're Caribou Barbie, who makes up her own reality as she goes.

The Republican 'Super-Minority'. Only Senate Democrats could turn a 59-41 MAJORITY into a functional minority. Jeebus, y'all...grow some balls, willya??

Grandmother smoked crack before high-speed chase, manhunt, say police. Over the river and through the woods, it's grandmother's crack we smoke....

Passengers left waiting for hours on plane, airliner blames Saints parade. Somehow I think there was a lot of this sort of thing happening in New Orleans after the Super Bowl. Productivity? Laissez les bon temps rouler, my friend!!

John Edward and Rielle Hunter to Marry, For Some Reason?. Of course it's true. It was in the National Enquirer, silly. Wait for it...the release of their sex tape in 4...3...2.... And to think that Edwards quite possibly could have been President.
