“Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” is a farce, little more than officially sanctioned oppression against a class of people who merely want to serve their country. For female service members, DADT also describes the military and media focus on rape and sexual assault. Why is it that gay sex is anathema to the military, but rape and sexual assault directed against female service members is ignored?
The one sensible, courage politician in Texas willing to stand up and demand that Governor Goodhair do something about the travesty that is public education in Texas is roundly ignored. His crime? Why, of course…he’s a Democrat, silly. Why are Texans so willing to subject their children to what amounts to little more than publicly-funded indoctrination?
Fox is canceling 24. Now where will the American Sheeple turn for some cathartically kick-ass, patriotic, Amerika uber Alles violence?
Why is it that a Republican Congressman can compare Nancy Pelosi to Saddam Hussein and Robert Mugabe…and the media treats this as worthy of serious discussion? Especially when a Democrat guilty of the same thing would (deservedly) be pilloried as an unbalanced demagogue?
Why are Republicans allowed to blame Democrats for the violence and death threats that have been directed at them…especially when Republicans are the ones fanning the flames?
If Republicans are serious about defusing violence and encouraging civility, then why won’t Michael Steele sign a joint statement with Tim Kaine, head of the DNC?
If you know what goes into a Chicken McNugget, will you still eat it? Uh, thanks…I think I’ll pass….
