“I don’t know why we didn’t think of this before,” said FBI spokesman Ronald Cartdale. “When someone starts calling herself Jihad This-or-that, it really should set off some alarm bells.”
Here’s a suggestion for you terrorist wannabes thinking about how to go about making a name for yourself. If you’re like me (as northern European as the day is long), you’re not going to be able to pass as an obvious suspected terrorist. This is a good thing, as NOT looking like a swarthy, bearded Islamofascist will make things much easier for you. You’re going to want to maximize this advantage by remembering NOT to call attention to yourself with a screen name like “Jihad Jane”. Believe it or not, this sort of thing is tough for the FBI and Homeland Security to miss. The name of the game here is to be inconspicuous, to NOT call attention to the fact that your ultimate goal is to wage violent Jihad against your Homeland.
Of course, if you’re going to be a dumbass about it, don’t come crying to me….
