…where a politician isn’t afraid to call racism out for what it is (Yes, Tim Pawlenty, you’re a coward more concerned with your political prospects than doing the right thing.)
…where White Folks don’t camouflage their blatant racism by claiming that it’s about enforcing the law.
…where the sexual exploits of a professional golfer aren’t considered newsworthy by editors jealous because they haven’t drilled 121 women.
…where the descendants of immigrants are’nt unreasonably and unjustifiably terrified of immigrants.
…where brain-dead zealots like Michael “Heckuva job, Brownie!” Brown aren’t treated as if they have anything lucid to add to the public discourse (et tu, Roger Ailes?).
…where politicians DON’T do everything shorting of fellating oil company executives.
…where the reality that men like football and sex isn’t treated like breaking news.
…where “populism” actually means what it’s supposed to- making government a force for economic justice.
…where Christian “leaders” actually live Christ-like lives instead of trading in hatred and hypocrisy.
…where brain-dead, self-absorbed zealots like Sarah Palin aren’t referred to as “populists” and showered in millions of dollars for trading in fear, ignorance, and propaganda.
