Say hello to the poster boy for rational Conservatism

MY NEW HERO

Basil Marceaux, Sr.

I recently posted a couple of (stunningly incoherent) campaign videos by one Basil Marceaux, Sr. Marceaux, who’s running (if what he’s doing can even be called that) for a US Senate seat in Tennessee, has taken the expression of political philosophy to new…well, I’m not certain “heights” is quite the right word. If you can follow Marceaux’s train of thought…and I would highly recommend against attempting to do so…you will have taken yourself to a place where few lucid individuals have gone (and managed to return from).

Never mind the fact that he’s well on his way to becoming the poster child for modern Republicanism….

I Basil Marceaux Sr. as a Force Recon Marine is the first Freedmen’s Bureau Agent/ Great Man of 2008 who is asking for your support and vote for the following republican prosition: U.S.Senate of Zack wamp in 2010. Make the Court system, Congess, Army, Navy ,Air Force to Fly the same flag as the Marine Corp which is the three color U.S. Flag. Make sure that if national insurance is put in place, I will make sure the roots of such bill with not inclued any type measuring of the waist like other counties. quoted on 1/3/09…. VOTE FOR ME AND IF I WIN I WILL IMMUNE YOU FROM ALL STATE CRIMES FOR THE REST OF YOU LIFE! (Except violating a citizen rights this would be a special punishment) Making Tennessee the first state in the United States to actually listen to the U.S.and state Constitution ,and all cities charters Because the last republican form of government which was 1866 thought they would rather have 50 murders on the street than one constitutional violator, now in 2008 all office holders break their oath the next day

Politics is too often taken way too seriously. People like myself get their panties in a wad over things that most Americans don’t even know…much less care…about. The genius of Basil Marceaux lies in reminding us that politics can also be about bringin’ da crazy and attracting like-minded souls to your cause. Like Arlo Guthrie once said, three makes it a movement.

Of course, given some of the mental midgets Tennessee has sent to Washington, Marceaux would represent a serious upgrade…and a comedy gold mine. Remember, the lack of a formal edumication, and the inability to speak in complete sentences, is no impediment to serving your country.
