Lest I forget, my new column, Looking Forward To The Portland Timbers Next Year, is up at Oregon Sports News. It’s a reflection on the Timbers’ inaugural MLS season. Hey, I don’t write the titles…just the columns….
Also, the WWJD IT god, James Bow, is, among other things, a columnist for the Kitchener Post. Yeah, that’s Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, (2561 miles due east of Portland) for those of my readers who may be geographically challenged. James is ample proof that Canada is the source of far more than hockey players and cold fronts. His latest column, Make some noise for electoral reform, is currently setting southern Ontario aflame. For those of you who know little to nothing about the Canadian electoral system (sadly, I have to include myself among that sorry lot), it provides an interesting contrast to the American system.
Frankly, I’m rather intrigued by the idea of actually being able to vote for “None Of The Above.”
Rumor has it that James is hard at work on some changes to WWJD. I have no idea what’s about to transpire, but hopefully all will be revealed soon. I was told there’d be cookies….
