Voter ID law may affect more Pennsylvanians than previously estimated. If Democrats came up with a scheme to disenfranchise 9.2% of potential Republican voters, the Right would (not unjustifiably) be working themselves into a furious, angry lather over the injustice of it all. Yet Republicans attempt to do the same thing to minorities and the poor- a traditionally Democratic constituency- and they justify it as “protecting electoral integrity.”

It was intended by the Founders to be a secular nation where people could freely indulge the faith of their choice (or not).
