Romney/Ryan 2012: Because what's sauce for the goose is...oh, never mind....

For months, Mitt Romney has said repeatedly that Americans should vote for him because of his business record. In a startling turn of events, he told Chuck Todd he’d like his past to be excluded from the race altogether.

Romney wants his business record off limits: Right; no one without business experience should be considered qualified to be President…but there’s no way I’m going to allow you to investigate my business record. Move along, people; no hypocrisy here….

Romney’s Veep Pick: Paul Ryan, Koch Ally and ‘Right-Wing Social Engineer’: There’s no doubt that Paul Ryan would significantly change the role and responsibility of government…and not for the better.

Rollout Fail: Mitt Romney Disses Tea Party Star On Day Of Base-Focused VP Rollout: Nothing like throwing one of your surrogates under the bus…not that it isn’t exactly where Ken Cuccinelli belongs, of course.

Romney: I’m Not Going To Run On Ryan’s Budget: I only picked Ryan because I want him to teach P90X classes to the campaign staff when we’re on the road this fall.

Another Bad Day For Romney: If you tell the truth, you never have to remember what you’ve said. If you lie, eventually the truth will catch up to you and make you look like…well, like Mitt Romney.

Mitt Romney Sure Does Lie a Lot, Doesn’t He?: Romney wouldn’t recognize the truth if it showed up on his campaign plane with a pair of kneepads and a tube of AstroGlide.

Mitt Romney Capitulates to the Right, Yet Again: When you have no core convictions, all you reasonably have left is pandering.

Mitt’s Many Mansions and the Foreclosure Crisis: To call Romney out of touch with those suffering, among other the things, the loss of their home would be an understatement of epic proportions.

Checking Romney’s Claim that Obama Wants to ‘Gut Welfare Reform’: And guess what?? It’s about as dishonest as the day is long. Quelle surprise….

The scandal behind Romney’s new attack ad: It’s not just that it’s dishonest. It’s that it’s so obviously, willfully, and provably dishonest that should give Americans pause. Oh, but wait; I keep forgetting. Being a Republican means never having to say you’re sorry…or worry about being held accountable for your mendacity.

Mitt Romney defends his welfare wheels from GOP outrage: When he was Governor of Massachusetts, Romney “offered welfare recipients free auto insurance, registration, inspections and memberships in AAA.” ‘Course, Romney wasn’t running for President then, was he? Besides, it’s been long enough since then that his views have probably “evolved,” right??

The standards for ‘embarrassment’: In Romney’s case, the standards are (not so) surprisingly low.
