One of the things I love about America is the ingenuity of businesses and their marketing departments. Somehow they manage to magically create demand where none previously existed. How else would you explain Coke Zero, Dr. Pepper Ten, and the Nissan Cube? American businesses excel at convincing us that we can’t live without something we’d never heard of before. It’s in that spirit that Nabisco has introduced Candy Corn Oreos. I know; I’m having trouble wrapping around that concept (and tamping down my gag reflex). It turns out that they’re only available at Target through the Halloween season, so if you’re so inclined (and I can’t imagine why you might be), you’d best stock up.
What’s next? Black licorice? Pesto and pineapple? Blood sausage?
