Whine Country: Republican sore losers and their inability to accept reality

Mitt Romney told his top donors Wednesday that his loss to President Obama was a disappointing result that neither he or his top aides had expected, but said he believed his team ran a “superb” campaign with “no drama,” and attributed his rival’s victory to “the gifts” the administration had given to blacks, Hispanics and young voters during Obama’s first term. Obama, Romney argued, had been “very generous” to blacks, Hispanics and young voters. He cited as motivating factors to young voters the administration’s plan for partial forgiveness of college loan interest and the extension of health coverage for students on their parents’ insurance plans well into their 20s. Free contraception coverage under Obama’s healthcare plan, he added, gave an extra incentive to college-aged women to back the president. […] “The President’s campaign,” he said, “focused on giving targeted groups a big gift—so he made a big effort on small things. Those small things, by the way, add up to trillions of dollars.”

Romney Says Obama Only Won Because He Gave ‘Big Gifts’ To Blacks And Latinos: Right; it had nothing to do with the fact that Romney’s primary and only allegiance was to the interests of wealthy White Conservatives.

Fischer: ‘Clamp Down on Immigration’ Because ‘Socialist’ Hispanics Vote Democratic: “We’re only going to win if we allow the “right” (read: “White”) people in.” You lost because you expected America to move to your inflexible, heartless ideology, instead of figuring out how to appeal to the American Sheeple.

Grover Norquist: Obama Won By Calling Romney ‘A Poopy Head’: This is priceless…and easily the most juvenile, immature thing I’ve ever heard a politician utter. And your wondering why Republicans lost so badly??

Romney Co-Chair: Romney Would Have ‘Absolutely’ Won Wisconsin With Voter ID Law: If you have to rely on cheating and stealing as your path to victory, your ideas suck.

Paul Ryan: I Didn’t Lose on the Issues, I Lost Because of Black People: Well, you could try listening to African-Americans and honestly addressing their concerns…or you could just work harder at suppressing their votes next time around.

The GOP’s media cocoon: You can’t be successful when the megaphone for your message is Fox “News” Channel.

Five Ways The Religious Right Imploded In 2012: Surprisingly, “Claiming the imprimatur of the Almighty and assuming God is on your side” didn’t make the list.

Speaking of ‘lingering bitterness’…: Why do the words “blind, impotent rage” keep coming to mind?

Judge Blasts Ohio’s Last Minute Disenfranchisement Effort: ‘I Don’t Want To See Democracy Die In The Darkness’: The sad thing is that Republicans weren’t even trying to hide their efforts to cheat and steal their way to victory.

Maine GOP chair frets over mysterious ‘black people’: ‘Cuz, as any real White American Patriot knows, there are no Black people in Maine.

Florida’s GOP Secretary Of State Has No Regrets, Won’t Say He’s Sorry For Massive Voting Lines: Translation “We will do whatever it takes- no matter how sleazy, dishonest, immoral, underhanded, or anti-democratic- to ensure that Republicans win. Because that’s the way it’s supposed to be.”
