Satanists to rally for Rick Scott
If Gov. Rick Scott is worried about slumping poll numbers, he might take comfort in knowing that his support is growing with at least one demographic. Satanists “from all over Florida” will gather at the State Capitol on Jan. 25 at 1 p.m. to applaud Scott’s backing of SB 98, according to a news release by a group called The Satanic Temple. Scott signed the bill in March that allows school districts to create policies allowing students to deliver “inspirational messages” at public events…. [A]ccording to Lucien Greaves, the spokesman for The Satanic Temple, Scott showed courage in signing the bill that now allows all religious groups to spread their message…. He said more than 100 members of his group, clad in black robes, will attend…. “We feel it will be a great satanic coming out,” Greaves said.
Rick Scott may be many things, but blessed with good fortune doesn’t seem to be on the list. The holier-than-thou, uber-corrupt Governor of Floriduh is attracting kudos from a constituency he probably wants nothing to do with- Satanists. After signing a bill that effectively turns Floriduh’s public schools into religious institutions, Satanists LOVE Scott for allowing freedom of expression to all religious groups. By “all religious groups,” I mean ALL religious groups…which, yes, includes those who worship the Dark Prince.
It’s difficult to imagine that this is what Scott had in mind when he signed by the bill, but sometimes when you make a deal with the Devil, it’s more than hyperbole. Welcome to the Law of Unintended Consequences, Governor.
Before you begin thinking that Scott might just have a grain of humanity within himself, you might want to consider this. The man really is scum without a shred of decency, integrity, or humanity…and Floriduh has EXACTLY the quality of leadership it deserves.
