ACCIDENTAL SHOOTING: On Jan. 22, Deputy Bruce Cronic was dispatched to Barrow Regional Medical Center, where a 64-year-old Hoschton man reported that he was at home cleaning his .22-caliber pistol and accidentally picked up a loaded magazine and placed it in the weapon, which discharged.
The bullet went through the man’s hand, shattering the little finger.
