Governor is ready to discuss education: Perry expected to call session on finance plan
Word has it that Governor Goodhair will emerge from his secure, undisclosed location today to propose dragging the Legislature back into a special session to address his new school finance reform plan. Good God, man; have you already forgotten the idiocy that ensued the last time the Legislature gathered in Austin? Yep, we were blessed with the DeLay Mandate- other wise known as redistricting. Now Gov. Perry wants to set these goons loose on school financing? Now THAT'S leadership....
