It's probably the most novel hate crime you'll ever hear about...and certainly the most odoriferous. Spreading 6000 lbs. of cow manure seems a bit over the top if you're trying to make a point, but going above and beyond the call of duty is EXACTLY what makes Wesley Bono our latest DUMB@$$ AWARD wiener.
Greenbrier, AR - A Greenbrier man accused of harassing a gay couple will face his day in court tomorrow.
The controversy stems from the Gay Pride parade in Conway on Sunday, June 27th.
That morning, police say Wesley Bono dumped manure at the start of the parade route. Thirty-five year-old Wesley Bono turned himself in when police issued a warrant for his arrest.
Bono plans to plead not guilty to a misdemeanor harassment charge, but before he faces a judge, Bono is speaking out. A cattle farmer for his entire life Wesley Bono says he just wanted to make a point.
And the point would be...what, exactly? That you're an ignorant, intolerant buffoon with too much time and cow $#!& on your hands? Nice work, Mr. Bono. If I ever get around to building that DUMB@$$ Hall of Fame I keep talking about, you'll be at the top of the list of inductees.
