If she were hot, we'd have her at the Republican National Convention with the Bush twins

At a campaign event yesterday, Dick Cheney informed a shocked crowd that "Lynne and I have a gay daughter." Hoping to calm the audience, Cheney continued, "But it's not like she's hot or anything, so it's okay."

Does anyone have the slightest idea of what Cheney thought he was saying? This guy must have more inner turmoil over his daughter's sexual orientation than Clarence Thomas does over his race.
