OK, when the 72% of you who don’t support Our Glorious and Benevolent Leader © begin whining and complaining about how thoroughly he’s screwed the pooch, I’d like you to stop and ask yourself a very simple question: Did you vote for Bush in 2000 & 2004? If you did, I’d like to remind you that you have only yourself to blame. A significant proportion of the blame for the 3,500 dead Americans in Iraq rests on your shoulders. YOU enabled this illegal and immoral war through your ignorance and you willingness to react to virulent, emotional propaganda instead of thinking rationally and critically. YOU helped to create the environment in which groups like Swift Boat Veterans for Truth can not only flourish, but become a significant player in a Presidential campaign. NOW you’re complaining about how The Worst President EVER © is fumbling the war in Iraq? Where were you when he was standing on the deck of the USS Abraham Lincoln in May, 2003, declaring the end of “major combat operations”? Where were you when the Downing Street Memo was roundly ignored by the Mainstream Media?
None of this would have happened if those of you who voted for King George the Worst © had actually THOUGHT about your vote. No, I’m not saying that Democrats have the answers, or even that John Kerry was a workable alternative. Given what’s happened, though, don’t you think a vote for Mr. Ed would have been an improvement over what we’re stuck with now?
Yeah, when you start to feel like complaining about what’s being done in our name, stop. Just stop. This wouldn’t be happening if you hadn’t given King George the Worst © a free pass. You’ve given up your right to complain, and you long ago lost your credibility. Nice going, eh?
