Karl Rove Grants First Post-Resignation Exclusive To Rush Limbaugh
Karl Rove will grant his first post-resignation exclusive to right-wing radio host Rush Limbaugh. A press release from Premiere Radio Networks states: Live on the radio airwaves tomorrow, August 15, at 1:06 p.m. ET, Karl Rove will be a guest on The Rush Limbaugh Show. This is the former Deputy Chief of Staff’s first exclusive interview since his resignation from the Bush Administration. On his radio show yesterday, Rush lavished Rove with praise, calling him “one of the smartest people you would ever run into” and a “fine, upstanding, cheerful, optimistic person just like the president is.”
Just in case you were wondering how corrupt, self-interested, and openly partisan the Bush Administration is, all you have to listen to Rush Limbaugh this afternoon as Limbaugh fellates Karl Rove live on national radio. It’s more than I can stomach, and frankly I’d rather listening to Norway rats mating. Nonetheless, this summit of Evil can and should be taken as indicative of just how little this Administration cares for the truth and anything but that 28% of the American sheeple who for some unfathomable reason still think that Our Glorious and Benevolent Leader © is anointed by God. (Uh…God’s an inept, incompetent, and thoroughly corrupt Republican who can’t even speak in complete, translatable sentences??)
Of course, there is another way to look at this meeting of two of the most shameless propagandists in modern history. Perhaps the Earth will cleave itself open and swallow these two nitwits whole. It’s not the horrible, excruciatingly painful demise I might have hoped for, but it would still rid our nation of these two vermin. No, I’m not openly advocating for anything illegal here, but let’s just say that if something happened to simultaneously wipe both Rove and Limbaugh from the face of the Earth…well, you wouldn’t be able to wipe the grin off my face.
