It wouldn't hurt if it weren't true...and it is

White House Criticizes Clinton Ad

CRAWFORD, Texas ‚Äö√Ñ√Æ The White House on Tuesday assailed Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton for criticizing President Bush in her latest television ad, calling her statements “outrageous.” The 60-second spot, which began running Tuesday in Iowa, intercuts scenes of the candidate interacting with voters and talking about challenges facing many working people…. “If you’re a family that is struggling and you don’t have health care, you are invisible to this president,” the New York senator says in the ad. “If you’re a single mom trying to find affordable child care so you can go to work, you’re invisible too. The ad also argued that U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan are “invisible” to Bush.

I was beginning to wonder when a Democratic Presidential candidate would finally have the foresight to go after Our Glorious and Benevolent Leader’s © Reign of Error. It’s not as if it’s not a target-rich environment. In more than six years, The Worst President EVER © has proven himself to be one of the most inept, dishonest, and thoroughly partisan Presidents in our nation’s history. He’s responsible for the deaths of thousands of Americans in an immoral war, he’s thoroughly botched the war on terror, and he has opened the federal government to Right-wing dominionist theocrats whose only guiding philosophy is “What would Republican Jesus do?” And now the White House is pissing and moaning because Sen. Clinton is making it known that the Emperor has no clothes?

Rather than creating even the barest of pretenses that he’s the President of all Americans, King George the Worst’s © record makes it clear that his only interest is in being Presidentiary to the ignorant, anesthetized 29% of the American Sheeple that still support him.

Campaigning in Dubuque, Iowa, Clinton referred to the White House criticism of her “invisible” comments.

“Apparently I’ve struck a nerve. The White House just attacked me a few minutes ago,” Clinton said. “Not only have I said it and am saying it, I will keep saying it because I happen to believe it.”

Apparently so…and it’s about damn time that a Democrat went after Commander Codpiece © . It will take the better part of an entire term for a Democrat to undo the damage done by this inept nitwit…if it’s even possible to do so. If Democratic candidates don’t begin taking on the Reign of Error now, when will they? Isn’t it about time the other candidate followed Clinton’s lead and begin talking about the damage that has been done to this country over the past six-plus years while a cabal of neoConservative thugs treated the executive branch as their personal playground??

Yes, Sen. Clinton certainly seems to struck a nerve. It’s about damn time someone did.
