Another trip down the Far Right's rabbit hole....

SCHEUER: The only chance we have as a country right now is for Osama bin Laden to deploy and detonate a major weapon in the United States....only Osama can execute an attack which will force Americans to demand that their government protect them.

STEWART: What the fuck is that? And by the way, here's the fascinating thing about our culture. My guess is that you didn't hear me say "fuck." Because the Federal government is protecting you and your children's ears from that type of profanity. While, Santa's evil twin gets to, uhh...gets to nonchalantly proposes the needless slaughter of Americans to further his national security plan. But, obviously, in this country, everyone's entitled to their dope-pinion.

How sad is it when we're reduced to relying on comedians to express anything resembling outrage when cluelessly partisan idjits like Michael Scheueur (yesterday's "Worst Person in the World") essentially advocate for the murder of thousands of Americans...all to validate their narrow political agenda? Even worse, while Scheuer was blithely explaining the need for thousands of Americans to exterminated on the altar of neoConservative fear mongering, The Dumbest (&^%$#@ Human Being on the Face of the Planet © was nodding knowingly and in solemn agreement.

WTF??

Jon Stewart makes an excellent point. How is it that mere obscenities are bleeped to protect the tender sensibilities of Americans...yet a neoConservative thug can openly advocate for the mass slaughter of innocent Americans in order that his political viewpoint may be validated? Even worse is the fact that NO ONE in the Mainstream Media so much as raised an eyebrow in response to Scheuer's assertions. How is it that Mark Sanford's Argentine zipper problem can be blanketed and over-analyzed 24/7...and yet Michael Scheuer advocating for al-Qaeda to once again work it's magic on American soil is roundly ignored? The hypocrisy is almost tangible. If Scheuer was a Liberal Democrat, the hue and cry, the weeping and gnashing of teeth...well, it would make a terrible din, don'tchathink??

How is it that "Santa's evil twin", to appropriate Stewart's phrase, can openly advocate for the slaughter of thousands of Americans, and yet when Stewart says (&^% it gets bleeped? How is that the Mainstream Media is not hanging Fox Noise Channel, Michael Scheuer, and The Dumbest (&^%$#@ Human Being on the Face of the Planet © by their short hairs? All of them have either engaged in or condoned the senseless, needless slaughter of thousands of young Americans. Where is the outrage? Hell, where's the coverage? Where is anyone even acknowledging that this sort of thing not only happened, but continues to happen as Right-wing nutjobs push their fear mongering to absurd lengths?

Then again, as long as someone else is doing the suffering and dying, where's the fire, eh?

If there is to be another attack, I can only hope that the Fox Noise Channel's studios are at Ground Zero. It couldn't happen to a more deserving collection of compassion-free cretins.
