If you’re a Republican, and you’re running against Nancy Pelosi, you’re going to want to compare and contrast how your ideas are better than hers…right? Uh…HELL NO!! If you’re John Dennis, you have no ideas…unless demonizing Pelosi and portraying her as the Wicked Witch of the West is what passes for informed debate in your world. Damn…THIS insult to our collective intelligence is how Dennis plans to present himself to a credible alternative to Nancy Pelosi??
You may not be a Liberal. You may not agree with Liberal philosophy or the goals and aspirations of Liberalism. It’s a free country, and you’re free to call yourself a Conservative if you choose. What you should NOT be free to do is to ridicule, demean, and demonize your opponent in order to demonstrate the “superiority” of your ideas and ideals. Doing so merely makes you look small, stupid, and mean…emphasis on “stupid” and “mean”. You, Mr. Dennis, may be OK with this, but all you’re really doing is convincing those of us who actually think that you’re a moron and a despot.
