Shouldn't every day be National Coming Out Day??

As I’ve mentioned previously, today is National Coming Out Day. From where I sit, this is a good, and also very sad thing. Whether or not you support or condone homosexuality, how sad is it that we have to have a day when someone can celebrate what they should be celebrating each and every day? Why does it matter who we love? Shouldn’t it only matter that we DO love?

As I’ve mentioned many a time, I’m profoundly ambivalent to the whole idea of sexuality. I’m not gay, but it doesn’t bother me that some people are. Live and let live, eh?
