Those who can, teach...you smug, self-righteous pinhead ;-)

Anyone who either is a teacher or who has taught at one time in their life (as I have), has a pet peeve: the trite bon mot, “Those who can, do. Those who can’t, teach.” There is little that displays one’s astonishing arrogance and ignorance than trafficking in that phrase, all while undoubtedly sporting a smug, self-satisfied grin. If you honestly believe that teaching is a profession occupied only by those unable to experience a modicum of success in other endeavors…well, I can only pray that a very special place in Hell awaits you. For now, though, I’ll simply let Taylor Mali put you in your place….
