A University of Kentucky researcher has applied for a patent for a cannabis patch. I know what you're thinking: Sweet! I can toke up anywhere, and no tell-tale reeking, either! Sorry, it's not that kind of cannabis patch. For one thing, it uses synthetic cannabis compounds instead of the real cannabis compounds that God, the original stoner, put in the plant because he was really fucked up that day. Also, it's not meant for Snoop Dog, its meant to help AIDS and cancer patients overcome nausea and get their appetite back. Which is all well and good, but why not just let them smoke a joint? For that matter, what if someone rolled up one of the patches and smoked it? Would it then become an "illegal delivery system?"
